About Lourdes Gonzalez, MD ~ Start date 10/12/2026
Dr. Lourdes Gonzalez was born and raised in San Diego. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. She then went to an international school for her Doctor of Medicine degree: the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine. Through this program, she got the unique opportunity to spend 2 years in Guadalajara learning medicine in English and Spanish before ultimately moving to Phoenix for the remainder of medical school. She’s called Phoenix home since then and went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology with Creighton University School of Medicine – Phoenix.
Dr. Gonzalez is dedicated to providing women’s care through all stages of life, with a special interest in high risk obstetrics and minimally invasive gynecology surgery. Her goal is to create a welcoming environment for her patients, focused on trust, open communication, and patient education. She is a bilingual provider who is also fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Gonzalez and her husband, Angel, just welcomed their first baby. She enjoys spending time with her family, including their 4 rescue dogs: Chewie, Leia, Thor and Loki.
