Dr. Hook is a big proponent of patient education, who feels patients should be fully educated so they can make informed decisions about their own health care. She earned her MD degree at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus and completed her residency at the University of Arizona and Affiliated Hospitals in Tucson. Dr. Hook’s areas of expertise are robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, cervical cancer screening, contraception, and general gynecology, as well as comprehensive prenatal care.
