When you are seen by a Genesis OBGYN specialist and the provider wants to ensure you get the best care for your high-risk pregnancy, you will be referred to Genesis Maternal-Fetal Medicine. We are experts in your needs as well as your baby’s needs and we are here to support you in your pregnancy.
Maternal-fetal medicine is an obstetrics subspecialty, focused on the high-risk component. We know you are excited and maybe a bit concerned about certain aspects of your pregnancy and our caring, welcoming healthcare providers will make your experience as safe and healthy as possible.
Our professional staff includes certified diabetic educators, dieticians, sonographers, perinatologists, and nurse practitioners. Nutrition and health issues such as high blood pressure and diabetes are important to monitor throughout your pregnancy. We have the expertise and the personal touch you need during this time to ensure the health and well-being of your baby and yourself.
Expert sonographers use the latest in ultrasound technology while maintaining that compassionate and individualized level of care you need and deserve. We are happy to see all of our patients and are glad to be able to help you and your baby throughout a healthy pregnancy.
Our professional healthcare staff also provide inpatient consultation at all four hospitals in the Tucson area that deliver babies. The Genesis maternal-fetal medicine providers have privileges at all of these hospitals so we can be with you when you need care there as well as in our practice offices.
The Genesis maternal-fetal medicine practices have the largest ultrasound and OB volume in our community. We take care of every new mother as an individual, though, making sure you are comfortable and healthy throughout your pregnancy.
