Dr. Michael Fassett earned his MD degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, B.S. degree in microbiology and B.A. degree in French at Arizona State University. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the Los Angeles County – University of Southern California Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Dr. Fassett’s professional areas of interest include cervical insufficiency, preterm labor, perinatal quality, reducing pregnancy-associated morbidity and mortality, as well as research exploring the association between perinatal risk factors and childhood outcomes.
