About Megan Spiekermeier, WHNP
Megan was born and raised in rural North Dakota. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota and began her career in Labor and Delivery, where she discovered a profound passion for supporting women through one of life’s most transformative experiences.
In 2011, drawn by the sunshine and a warmer climate, Megan relocated to Phoenix, Arizona. There, she continued her work in Labor and Delivery at St. Joseph’s Medical Center and Hospital, gaining nearly a decade of hands-on experience in maternal care. While Megan found great fulfillment in bedside nursing, she was inspired to make a broader impact in women’s health through preventative care and family planning. In 2017, she earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a focus in Women’s Health from Arizona State University.
Today, Megan specializes in contraceptive management, prenatal care, and perimenopause/menopause support. Outside of work, Megan enjoys playing sand volleyball, hiking Arizona’s scenic trails, practicing yoga, and biking with her husband, Taner.
