About Cyndy Churgin, RNP-C
Cyndy Churgin is from Montreal, Canada. I moved to AZ in 1980 to attend school in a dual program for my FNP and PA degrees. I’ve been in practice since 1981. In 1989 I returned to school, to complete a program which combined both Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Midwife.
I am divorced and happily single. I have two grown kids, my daughter Sarah is a Zoo Vet, and my son Dan is a Retinal surgeon here in Phoenix. I have practiced solely gynecology since 2001. I now have several unique areas of special interest, and of course, also practice general office based GYN.
These include menopause management, including hormone replacement and hormone pellet insertion; genetic cancer screening and management of positive hereditary gene patients; pediatric and adolescent GYN; Transgender hormone management (both males and females); LGBT-inclusive practice; vulvar disease, including chronic vulvar pain; abnormal Pap smear management and colposcopy; post-menopausal bleeding and abnormal vaginal bleeding issues; STI testing and treatment; sexual issues, painful sex, low libido; IC (Interstitial cystitis); all contraceptive options, including IUDs and Nexplanon; and recurrent vaginal infections.
I teach PA students at AT Still University (both in the classroom and clinically) and frequently have a PA student with me in the office. I am very sensitive to your needs, and if there is ever a time that you do not want to have a student in the room, it is always okay to say so.
